TRIPIX is an adaptable and modular platform. Fully customizable, it is designed to simplify and enrich your experience of traveling to Africa or participating in events powered or supported by Africa. TRIPIX aims to be the perfect accommodation and fleet management tool.
TRIPIX was originally designed to simplify the lives of supporters wishing to attend the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast. It made it possible to plan their trip from their country of origin in just a few clicks, by booking plane tickets, accommodation, dining options, tourist tours, while respecting their budget and preferences. TRIPIX thus made it possible to make their stay as enriching as possible by providing them with practical information on tourist places, entertainment activities and restaurants near their place of stay. Using geolocation, the app recommended exciting places within a 2km radius of their location. TRIPIX also allowed them to discover the culture, cuisine and wonders of Africa.
TRIPIX was then modulated and personalized to meet the specific needs of the 19th Francophonie Summit which was held in Paris from October 2 to 6, 2024. The application provided complete and practical information to Summit participants, taking into account the previous functionalities and adding new specificities linked to this event such as:
To date, TRIPIX offers the following functionalities:
• Travel management: it is possible to request vehicle allocation for a trip by entering the starting point, the destination location and the departure time.
• Vehicle and driver management: possibility of creating vehicles and drivers, assigning a vehicle to a driver, assigning a trip to a driver.
• Room management: creation of rooms made available to you by your partners for your event, setting of room rates, allocation of rooms to participants or possibility of letting participants choose their own rooms
• Creating a calendar for your event (times, dates, and descriptions of the different sessions, workshops, conferences and activities, etc.)
• The location of your event sites (with supporting photos of all the sites where your various activities are held, etc.)
• Directions and transportation options (to help participants get to different locations by providing information on available transportation options, including bus lines, metro, and other transportation options)
• Highlighting certain speakers or programs/activities (speaker profiles with biographies and photos, list of programs/activities with descriptions and schedules, with sharing function on social networks to promote programs/activities, etc.)
• News related to the event.
