TripoSIM is a digital platform that allows travelers to stay connected to the internet wherever they are, without the need to buy a local SIM card or pay expensive roaming fees. It offers a variety of plans in terms of data volume and validity period to suit all types of trips, from a short trip of a few days to a long stay.

The process works very simply: the traveler chooses their destination and the plan that suits them, pays electronically, and the QR code arrives instantly via email. This code is installed on the phone before traveling, and the plan does not start until the first actual connection to the network in the intended destination — meaning that early purchase and installation does not waste any day of validity.

The plans are data-only (no calls or messages over the cellular network), but they support apps like WhatsApp and FaceTime for communication, and also support the hotspot feature. The traveler keeps their primary SIM card to receive calls and messages as usual.
