Switched over from using TripIt for many years. UI is a lot more modern, but more importantly, it can also import trips that TripIt cannot (e.g. local boat tour). The one downside so far is that for long trips, the information can get a bit cluttered with all the visuals. TripIt was a lot simpler which made it easier to see a lot of information at a glance

Thanks Aditya- try 'compact mode' by tapping avatar in top-right for a cleaner look.

I've used a few different travel apps over the past 15+, as I travel a lot for work and need to keep track of all the details, including flights, accom, hire cars etc. I heard about Tripwaffle six months ago and have been putting it through its paces. It's the best by far. They keep adding new features that are actually useful. I won't be renewing my subscription with the other app I use.

I wanted to try an alternative to TripIt and have not been disappointed with Tripwaffle. It has lots of features, it's easy to use and has great support. Edit to add: Having recently completed a month long trip, I can definitely recommend TripWaffle. Notifications for flight delays, gate changes and baggage carousel locations were handy, and the option to export your complete itinerary to an easy to read pdf was super handy when needed for immigration.
