TRNE

About this app

TRNE is the travel companion for people who travel light and far: backpackers, van lifers, cyclists, hitchhikers and digital nomads.

THE ESSENTIALS, ANYWHERE
• Over 1.4 million places worldwide: drinking water, public toilets, showers, campsites, RV service points, laundries, libraries with Wi-Fi, bike repair stations and mountain huts.
• The nearest one first, with a direction arrow and distance.
• Honest details: free or paid, step-free access, opening hours. When something is not known, TRNE says so instead of guessing.
• Travelers confirm whether a place was open, and can add photos and new places.
• Filters for free, step-free, 24/7, RV-friendly, dump stations, water fill and power.

PLAN BEFORE YOU GO
• Explore any city, lake, mountain or park in the world, with photos.
• Trips with dates, stops, bookings, notes and a budget that adds up your expenses.
• Save a region for offline use: the map and its places keep working without signal.
• Travel journal, and a document vault that stays on your phone behind its own lock.

MEET PEOPLE ON THE ROAD
• Hosts: locals who offer a couch, a room, a tent spot or a place for your van. The exact address is shared only after the host accepts your request.
• Travel buddies heading to the same place on the same dates.
• Shared rides with cost-sharing between travelers.
• Community board: house and pet sitting, home exchange, gear swap, volunteering, work exchange, meetups, language exchange and local help.
• Report and block are one tap away; every report is reviewed.

No ads. No in-app payments. Place data © OpenStreetMap contributors; photos from Wikimedia Commons with their authors credited.

TRNE is new and grows city by city. Add the places you know and become a host: every traveler who joins makes the map better for the next one.
