Mum went out in the morning. Dad thought nobody had. The dog got two walks – or none.
Tropy is a dog walk diary shared by the whole household. One dog profile, everyone at home, one answer to the question: has anyone been out today?
A WALK THAT LOGS ITSELF
• Press start, put the phone in your pocket. The route records with the screen off.
• Poop and pee with one tap – counted, so you know the dog did what it needed to.
• Photos from the camera straight into the walk.
• Back home: a map with the route, distance, time, pace.
• Left the phone at home? Log the walk afterwards – it is marked honestly.
THE WHOLE HOUSEHOLD IN ONE PLACE
• Invite the family by email – an account takes one tap.
• Everyone sees everyone's walks, live, while they happen.
• Notifications: someone went out, someone came back, someone commented. You pick which.
• Comments on a walk: "met that beagle again", "long one today, all good?".
• Went out together? Mark who came along – everyone gets the walk, the dog only once.
A SITTER WHILE YOU ARE AWAY
• Invite a neighbour or a sitter for specific days. They see only the walks from their shift, never the dog's whole history.
• Ask them to record the route – you will see where the dog really went.
• Access ends by itself.
STATISTICS THAT MEAN SOMETHING
• Days in a row – counted from yesterday, so a morning does not reset it.
• This week, eight weeks on a chart, every dog separately.
• Who at home walked how much – the only number that compares people.
NO PASSWORDS
• Sign in with a code from your inbox or a fingerprint. Nothing to remember.
PRIVACY
• Walk routes start at your front door – so nobody outside your household ever sees them. There is no public sharing of routes.
• Data stays in the European Union. Delete your account yourself, from the app.
Tropy was built for one dog and three people who never knew whether someone had already taken him out. If that sounds like your home – this is for you.
One walk diary for the whole household. Route, poop, pee – who went out today?
