Champy the Useless Vampire is a 2D hand-drawn point-and-click adventure game with a feel-good vibe and lots of crazy puzzles.

Meet Champy, the unconventional vampire who doesn't drink blood and only has one power, the ability to turn into a bat. After living a couple of decades in Paris, he is suddenly called into service by his family.

Champys grandfather, the once-mighty Dracula,is losing his immortality and powers. The years he has lived are rapidly catching up to him and threatens to end his existence rather quickly, setting the stage for a race against the clock.

Dracula's fear of being overthrown by the other vampires makes him turn to the only one he trusts, his useless grandson. Champy, recently being banished from Transylvania after a series of unfortunate incidents, leaps at the chance to redeem himself.

Embark on an adventure amongst a cult of vampire hunters, a giant octopus and zombie animals. Will Champy find a way to save Dracula before it's too late?

Pretty good. Maybe a little too basic and easy. Great graphics. Way to short and a lot of time spent walking, very slowly. Game froze on me twice, had to restart, with no way to skip scripted scenes to get back where i was. No save or load function. Funny enough game but could use a little more adult vibe to it. I have no idea what the latest update does, i have finished game so did not update.

I'm an avid fan of point & click, adventure games so I'm ALWAYS looking for new ones to add to my collection. I came across 'Champy' while searching online for something I've not yet played (which isn't easy). I was a bit disappointed pretty early on in this game. The dialog was bland & boring at best. There's no option to walk quicker towards items or to reach exits to other rooms. Puzzles are much easier than I'm used to. Over all the game moves to slow. I'm still going to finish it though.

A beautiful game, drawings and animations and all! Still, I have to say, the puzzles are overly simple and easy, as in extremely obvious, so much that it becomes boring. From this I want to give it 2 or 3 stars but then again, there is a lot of work in the animations and who even does voice-over these days!!
