About this app

Telescope log and stargazing planner for amateur astronomers. Darksite starts with a short list of targets matched to your telescope, eyepieces, location and tonight's conditions. See the dark window, moon schedule, cloud outlook and the reason each target fits your setup.

PLAN AND LOG THE SESSION
• Queue tonight's targets and reorder them by transit time
• Use red field mode and the custom red keyboard at the eyepiece
• Record seeing and transparency with sketches, voice notes and photos
• Capture date, time, site, gear, magnification and field of view

TOOLS FOR YOUR GEAR
• Add telescopes, eyepieces, filters and Barlow lenses
• Calculate magnification, true field of view and exit pupil for each combination
• Search sessions by object, eyepiece, site or sky quality

TRACK OBSERVING LISTS
Follow Messier, Herschel 400 and Lunar progress as you log. Create reviewed, coordinator-ready export packages when it is time to submit.

YOUR WORK, YOUR CHOICE
Core planning, catalog, calculations and logs work offline. Observation records are stored on your device. Export CSV or JSON, or create a backup, when you choose. Optional diagnostic crash reports can be turned off in Settings.
