Why Shredder

Most ski apps and snowboard apps only focus on tracking your runs. Shredder goes beyond that. It is about community, connection, and making skiing and snowboarding more fun. Skiing is not just about the turns you make. It is about the people you meet, the stories you share, and the adventures you create. Shredder is built around that idea.

By combining tracking with social features, carpooling, events, and avalanche tools, Shredder becomes the only app you need for your season. Whether you ski ten days a year or a hundred, you will find new ways to enjoy the mountains with Shredder.

it sucks. there's almost no one on there, and even when there is after you've been using it a little bit you see everything there is to see, it starts ignoring your preferences, giving you people 15 years older than you or people from way too far away. even the tracker thing sucks, sometimes I turn it on and do a day of snowboarding only to find out it shut off after the first run and stopped recording it. it also heavily encourages you to pay to make the app usable. I would not recommend.

Not sure why this app tries to disguise itself as your "all in one" skiing app when its just a lousy dating app with one of the worst trackers of all time. I've messed with settings like battery saver, high priority usage/ left the app on while i ski. No success. The forecast is the only reason it gets a star as I've found it useful. If you're interested in meeting people just talk on a chairlift and delete this. I suspect heavy influencer payoffs. Lastly, the glitches are abundant and annoying.

I see the big opportunity there and it's really cool. However for now it's not very user friendly since it laggs a lot and has some problems with the UI(when I try to open the filters tab. It opens only to the center of the screen if it's supposed to be like that and I cannot scroll down to see the other filters. The farthest I can see is a "Skill level" section but cannot scroll to see the options for it or whatever in the filters tab.) When I open the app it says needs an update, but there isn

What’s new

New improved app. Smoother UI, less stuttering of profile images, and other improvements to app flow and functions.
