About this app
Point your camera at something interesting. Trippi tells you what it is and why it matters.
Trippi is your know-it-all travel friend. Snap a hilltop village, a famous painting, a plate of noodles or a sign you can't read, and Trippi names it and tells you the story, right where you're standing.
Get the story of every view
Trippi uses your photo and where you are to work out exactly what you're looking at, then tells you the story behind it in a couple of short paragraphs. Every answer ends with one thing to notice or do from where you stand.
Hear what the guides skip
At the places everyone knows, Trippi skips the textbook summary and gives you the details most visitors never hear.
Know what you're eating
Snap a dish to learn what it is, where it comes from and how locals eat it.
Keep asking
Every answer comes with follow-up questions to tap, or ask your own by typing or talking. Add another photo to the same chat any time.
Share the good ones
Send a snap to a friend as a card with the photo and Trippi's answer. If they have Trippi Camera, the chat opens for them to keep asking.
Every picture saved
Your snaps and chats live in your history to go back to. The photos you take are saved to your gallery too.
Free to start, Unlimited when you want it
Your first 10 photos are free. Trippi Camera Unlimited gives you unlimited photos, your whole history, and the ability to text photos to Trippi over SMS, WhatsApp or iMessage and get the answer right in your texts.
Unlimited is $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year. Payment is charged to your Google Play account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled, and you can manage or cancel them any time in your Google Play subscriptions.
Uses the same account as the Trippi trip planner.
