About this app

A peaceful daily companion for the Quran, prayer, and remembrance, designed to be easy on the eyes and to work without requiring any effort from you.

The Quran
Read the Quran as printed on the page: in the King Fahd Complex font, fifteen lines per page, turned by swiping like a book. Or read verse by verse with translation, in a font size that suits you. Search the Arabic text without needing to type diacritics. Bookmarks, a reading goal, and the app remembers where you left off.

Recitation
Listen verse by verse to the voices of Mahmoud Khalil Al-Husary, Muhammad Siddiq Al-Minshawi, or Akram Al-Alaqmi. The recited verse is highlighted as you follow along, the recitation continues even with the screen locked, and what you listen to is saved for offline listening.

Memorization
Choose a verse or passage and repeat its recitation: each verse a number of times you choose, and the entire passage a number of times or until you stop.

Interpretation
Classical and modern Arabic interpretations are available alongside any verse: Ibn Kathir, Al-Saadi, Al-Muyassar, Al-Mukhtasar, Aysar Al-Tafasir by Al-Jazairi, and I'rab Al-Qur'an by Al-Darwish. These are downloaded upon first opening the app.

Prayer
Prayer times are calculated on your device based on your location, and the calculation method and manual adjustments are at your fingertips. You receive timely reminders, and the full Adhan is played as long as the app is open, with ten different voices to choose from. The day's prayers remain readily accessible in a list, and the home screen widget displays the next prayer at a glance.

Qibla
A compass points towards the Kaaba and alerts you when its accuracy is unreliable.

Remembrances
Morning and evening remembrances, remembrances after prayer, before sleep, and upon waking. These are presented in Arabic with full diacritics, including their sources, transliteration, and translation. A guided reading session is also available, with a counter that remembers your position.

Hadith
The complete Sahih Al-Bukhari in Arabic: all books, with search functionality, and a Hadith featured on the home screen every day.

Tasbih (Prayer Times)
A counter that saves your position with the exact number of repetitions you use.

Hijri Calendar
Today's Hijri date and the number of days remaining until Ramadan.

Arabic and English
The entire app is bilingual and properly formatted in both languages.

Privacy Design
No calculations, analytics, or ads. Your location is used to calculate prayer times on your phone and is not sent anywhere, as there is no recipient. All information the app collects about you is deleted upon deletion.

Works Offline
The Quran, supplications, and hadiths are included in the app from the moment of installation. The Quran pages, commentary, and recitation are saved during reading and listening.
