In Normandy where I live, VILLE is always attached to the village name.
Therefore, Tsujimura, where I serve as the mayor, is pronounced Tsujibiru in French.
This is Hitoshi Tsuji's community imagination space village.
The world, philosophy, design, and harmony that I imagine exist like a rural landscape.
Words, music, images, paintings, photographs, poetry, conversations, and so on, all appear as if they were a matter of course in Tsuji Building.

It means "protection of culture" in French.
It is said that the name comes from Gaius Maecenas, a political adviser to Augustus, the first emperor of the Roman Empire. He was famous for being a patron of economically disadvantaged young poets such as Virgil and Horatius, and was instrumental in defending and nurturing culture. Many artists of the Roman period undertook cultural and artistic activities with the support of the king. (See Wikipedia, etc.) At Tsuji Building, we are recruiting a limited number of 30 Mécenat villagers to support the cultural activities of Mayor Tsujimura.
