About this app

The OS's standard data is usually deleted after about a month. Even the battery usage display by app only shows the last 24 hours.

"I feel like my battery is draining faster than last month."

"I wonder how much I was looking at my phone last year?"

When you think like that, Basuo Monitor keeps a record that you can look back on indefinitely.


■ What you can do

・Accumulate unlimited daily usage time for each app (today/yesterday/past 7 days/past 30 days/all time)
・Daily trend of total screen time
・Count the number of notifications for each app (see at a glance which apps send the most notifications)
・Turn off excessive notifications with one tap to the app's notification settings from the list
・Record the number of times the screen is turned on and unlocked daily (see how many times you've accidentally touched it)
・Battery level trend graph (switch between 24 hours/7 days)
・Battery temperature is also recorded simultaneously (in 0.1℃ increments, displayed overlaid on the graph)
・Display discharge rate and an estimate of "approximately how many hours remaining"
・Display an estimate of CPU clock speed (only for models that can obtain this data)
・Display today's screen time in the notification bar (can be turned ON/OFF freely, no sound)
・The trend graph can be switched between 30 days/90 days/all time (you can go back to the day you recorded)

*Only the battery graph is 24 hours/7 days. Other trends can be traced back to the entire period.

■ Data is stored only on the device

Recorded data is never sent externally. No server uploads or account registration are required. It's a completely local design for those who are uneasy about storing data in the cloud.

(However, uninstalling the app will erase the data. There is no backup function.)

■ The recording app itself is lightweight

It's not designed to require the device to be opened multiple times for recording. Battery information is collected by leveraging already running processes, and ads are only loaded when the screen is opened. This avoids the problem of "a battery-watching app consuming a lot of battery."

■ Records accumulate from the time of installation

Because Android only retains a few days' worth of past events, it's not possible to go back to before installation. The accumulation from the day of installation becomes the long-term log. The earlier you install it, the longer you can review.

■ Required permissions

・Access to usage

Used to record usage time for each app.

・Access to notifications

Used to count the "number" of notifications. The notification content (body, subject, sender, etc.) is neither saved nor sent. Only the app name and count are recorded. This also helps to prevent missing screen-on counts.

Both can be revoked at any time from your device settings. Only the unpermitted function will be disabled; other functions will remain usable.

■ About CPU Clock

The "CPU Clock Estimate" is displayed on the battery history screen. Since Android 8 and later versions cannot obtain the actual CPU usage from the app, please consider this as a reference value only. It will not be displayed on devices that cannot read the value.

■ About Power Saving Settings

Recording may stop due to the device's power saving function (especially on devices with strong manufacturer-specific power saving features). Setting this app to "Unrestricted" from "Open Battery Settings" within the app will reduce the likelihood of it stopping.

■ About Ads and In-App Purchases

This app is free to use. Purchasing the in-app purchase "Hide Ads" (one-time purchase) will remove all ads.


■ About the Mascot

"Basuo" is a guest character from the fishing and raising game "Let's Raise a Black Bass." He checks the battery level and occasionally mutters a short comment.
