About this app

Stop Drowsy Driving — a safety companion that warns you before drowsiness takes over

Long trips and tired days. A moment with your eyes closed can be the most dangerous. Stop Drowsy Driving uses your phone’s front camera and on-device face analysis to detect drowsiness signs in real time, then alerts you with an alarm and optional voice guidance. Camera video is analyzed on the device only. It is not sent to or stored on a server.

■ Key features

【Real-time drowsiness detection】
Detects closed eyes, yawning, and head nodding with the front camera. In dark or low-light conditions, you can connect a USB infrared (IR) camera for more stable detection. (Settings > USB camera guide)

【PiP (small window) mode】
Shrink the screen after start and keep detection running while you use navigation or other apps. Detection can continue in the background even if the screen is off.

【Drive trail】
The Rest tab shows your on-device monitoring route on the map. Free keeps today’s trail; Premium keeps up to 7 days.

【Alerts your way】
• Alarm sound and volume; add a sound from your files or a recording
• Dismiss by touch, or hands-free with the proximity sensor (supported devices)
• Optional TTS early fatigue warning (Premium, setting ON)
• Nap timer — wake-up alarm after 15 / 30 / 60 minutes
• Power-save mode — turn the screen off on a drowsiness alert and keep monitoring

【Driving convenience】
• Detect only while the vehicle is moving (GPS 5 km/h or faster)
• Detection sensitivity control
• Driving stats — today’s drive time, alert counts, safety score, a personalized driving report, and share (stored on device)

■ How to use

1. Open the app and allow camera and required permissions.
2. Tap Start monitoring or PiP; monitoring begins after 3 seconds.
3. Mount the phone so the front camera can see the driver’s face. (A USB IR camera is recommended at night.)
4. An alarm sounds when drowsiness is detected.
5. In Settings, adjust alarms, detection types, alert style, and USB camera options.

■ Premium (optional)
Free includes core detection, PiP, alarms, and driving stats for up to 60 minutes per day. With Premium (subscription or lifetime), you also get:

• Unlimited monitoring time
• Auto start — begin monitoring from GPS speed or car Bluetooth
• Warning video records — about 10 seconds around each alert (app screen or PiP only, not Home / screen-off). Clips older than 7 days are deleted automatically
• Early fatigue warning — TTS heads-up before the main alarm when fatigue builds up
• 7-day drive trail on the Rest tab (free shows today only) • Ad-free

■ Privacy
• Camera video: analyzed on device in real time; not sent to or stored on a server
• Location (GPS): used for “moving-only detection,” Premium auto start, and the Rest tab drive trail. Foreground location only. The trail is stored on device and is not uploaded
• No account sign-up
• Settings, stats, and warning clips (if enabled) are processed on the device

■ Please read
Stop Drowsy Driving is a driving-safety aid, not a guarantee. Accuracy depends on the device, lighting, camera angle, and the driver. It cannot detect every case of drowsiness. At night or in low light, detection may not work well. Connect an external USB IR camera in that case. If you feel sleepy or an alert sounds, pull over somewhere safe and rest. Always follow traffic laws and your duty to drive safely, even while using the app.
