Wantify is a free app that unlocks a new kind of purchasing power for teens.

This isn't simply an allowance or chore app. This is an entirely new way for teens to be able to purchase things they want using their parent's cash upfront with a promise to pay back the purchase price in services valuable to the parent. Now when a teen wants his or her parent to make a purchase for them, the teen uses Wantify to submit a purchase proposal to their parent with a pay-back plan proposing specific tasks the teen will complete. Once the purchase proposal is acceptable to both parent and teen, parents then make the purchase and the teen begins the pay-back by performing the tasks. Wantify tracks and automatically reports on the teen's pay-back progress until completed.

Teens get things they want. Parents benefit by teaching accountability and by reimbursement of the purchase price in the form of tasks they regard as valuable.

Here's the Wantify way to "buy" something now when you don't have a way to pay for it:

1. Use the Wantify standard fill-in-the-blanks form to submit a proposal to your parent to have them purchase something you really want or need in exchange for a promise to pay-back the purchase price to your parent by performing agreed upon tasks.
2. Your parent reviews the proposal and either agrees to it as proposed or modifies it. Once you and your parent agree on the purchase terms, your parent makes the purchase and you start completing the tasks to pay them back.
3. Wantify tracks your pay-back process until completed and reports your progress to your parent.
4. Once you've completed all tasks, enjoy the win of having earned the purchase.

Your teen asks you to buy something for them BUT, you're on the fence on this one. Wantify can help you justify the purchase because you'll receive a reimbursement in the value of tasks your teen will perform. More than that, Wantify provides a great teaching opportunity to demonstrate that funds to make purchases have to be earned. This is how it works for parents:

1. Your teen will send you a request for an item they want, and propose tasks or chores they will do to pay it off. This simulates an agreement to be made between you and your teen.
2. Once you both agree on the proposal, you make the purchase and your teen will be accountable for completing their tasks.
3. Wantify helps you keep track of the completion of each of your teen's tasks to ensure that the pay-back is completed as agreed
4. Once your teen has accomplished everything - success! The item is "paid off" and the agreement has been fulfilled.
