About this app

Tunelly on television is a network utility for people who run their own infrastructure.
It is a client, not a service. We operate no servers and sell no access.

The TV does not type in a share link. Open Tunelly on a phone that already has a configuration, open a card's ⋯ menu, choose TV, and scan the code this app shows. The phone sends that configuration to the TV. The TV then connects to the same servers the phone already had.

If the phone and the TV cannot reach each other on the local network, the phone may leave a short-lived ciphertext on tunelly.com and the TV collects it. We cannot read that payload. The copy is deleted when collected, or after ten minutes.

Needs a phone with Tunelly. Needs Android 9.

The tunnel is a system VPN. While it is up, a persistent notification shows the status and the server name. Every control is reachable with the D-pad.

Tunelly carries the protocols its engine implements. A configuration for something it cannot speak is refused, not accepted and left dead.

The publisher does not operate the servers you connect to. Traffic goes from this television to the server in the configuration the phone sent.
