Update: As of June 2022, 210 signs have been edited and infrastructure changes have been made to ensure more stable operation.

With TİD3B, texts entered by voice or keyboard can be translated into Turkish sign language. Turkish sign language rules were taken into consideration during translation. The application continues to be developed by researchers at Trabzon University and Karadeniz Technical University.

TİD3B is based on the sign language dictionary of the Ministry of National Education and contains over 2600 signs in its library. By examining the sign language rules, 46 rules were integrated into the application and the aim was to translate the texts into sign language correctly. TİD3B uses not only hand signals but also facial expressions and lip movements, which are non-hand signals.

Sentence translations may not be fully and completely translated. For this reason, it should be used with caution in sensitive areas such as health, law and similar. We expect you to share your deficiencies, errors and suggestions with us so that the errors can be corrected. Additionally, we can evaluate the signs you want to add and add them to the system as a priority.

TID3B can be used in many areas such as communicating with hearing impaired people in government offices, learning sign language, communicating with students in schools, communicating with hearing impaired individuals and many other areas.
