Subtle Vector is a minimal memory-based game focused on recognizing and repeating grid patterns within a limited time. The core mechanic is based on observing highlighted cells and reproducing the same sequence after it disappears.
At the beginning of each round, several cells on the grid briefly light up. The pattern remains visible for a short duration, then fades. After that, the task is to recall and select the same cells from memory. Correct selections are marked, while incorrect inputs do not contribute to the score.
The game includes structured stages with increasing complexity. In the first stage, a 4×4 grid is used across five rounds, where four cells must be remembered. The pattern is visible for two seconds, and the response time is limited to fifteen seconds.
In the next stage, the grid expands to 5×5, with three rounds per session. Six cells are included in the pattern, which is shown for a shorter duration of 1.5 seconds. The response window is reduced to twelve seconds.
Scoring is based on accuracy and speed. Completing the pattern correctly within the time limit results in higher points, with additional bonuses applied for faster responses.
The overall experience is designed with a neutral visual style and clear structure, focusing on memory and timing without additional elements.
