Welcome to the all-new PGA Championships app, your one stop for full coverage of the PGA Championship (Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky, May 13-19), KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship (May 23-26 at Harbor Shores in Benton Harbor, Michigan) and KPMG Women’s PGA Championship (June 20-23 at Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Wash.).

Ratings and reviews

Meh. I'm flipping between the PGA Tour app and this one constantly. The Groups screen is delayed by at least 15-20 minutes. Finding the players on the correct holes is a wild goose chase. The Leaderboard screen doesn't let you search by name, so you're scrolling all around to find a player. Just overall not that great of an app you'd expect for a major championship.

I have downloaded the 4 Major Golf apps around the time of there tournament. By far the best is the Masters App. The PGA App is disappointing. I did not see any links to coverage, but being partnered with ESPN would explain a lot. I didn't like the page showing the scores, seem like alot of stuff on top without the scores being shown. Normally I am checking the app for score during the tournament, this one I didn't bother and waited to watch on weekend.

When it refreshes it goes back to the highlights and not the shot tracker. Not sure if any of these folks who develop this program or aware that the major requirements behind these applications in golf is around fantasy golf and sports betting. Being that you can't track shots real time without it also refreshing and going back to another screen is a complete failure on their part around user experience.
