The Virtual Assistant - Learn Verbs application is a tool for people who have the following diagnoses:
● Autism spectrum disorder;
● Mental retardation;
● Delayed mental development;
● Delayed mental and speech development;
● cerebral palsy;
● Down syndrome;
● Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
The application is a tool in mastering the basic basic actions in a simple and playful way.
The application uses augmented reality technology.
When you point the camera of a smartphone or tablet on a card, augmented reality is activated, and the picture is transformed into an animation showing the action presented. The action is performed by different actors and in different situations. Animation is accompanied by narration text that can be customized individually for each user.
Each user is compiled an individual training program based on input testing. Testing is also carried out at the end of each lesson and for the transition to the study of a new action.
Suitable for both home use and for use in educational, correctional and medical institutions.
