About this app

IZI-COMMS is the intercom panel for live production crews: directors, camera operators, commentators, floor managers and everyone else on the show, on the phone you already carry.

Sign in to your production, or open an invite link and type nothing, and you land straight on your panel.

ON THE PANEL
• TALK and LISTEN keys for every line you are on
• Hold to talk, or double-tap to keep the microphone open
• Volume keys and headset buttons work as push-to-talk
• Private calls: hold a name in the roster to talk to that one person
• IFB: programme feeds dip while the director talks to you
• Priority call to reach everyone at once
• Who is on comms, and who is talking right now
• Tally and count-in from the gallery

MAKE IT YOURS
• A listen level for every line, plus microphone gain, sidetone and noise gate
• How far programme, priority and private calls duck everything else
• Talk options: mute headset while talking, one talk line at a time, mic always on, beeps and vibration
• Earpiece or loudspeaker, and wired or Bluetooth headsets are followed as you plug them in
• Keeps working with the screen locked and the phone in your pocket

• Clear someone's stuck talk keys, set their tally, take them off comms or start a count-in, from the roster

IZI-COMMS connects to an IZI-COMMS intercom server run by your production company, on the internet or on the venue's own network. You need an account or an invite link from your production to use the app.
