It does work as a remote, however the ads. There are so many. I was trying to type a album that I wanted to listen to. Right in the middle of typing an add starts. You can't stop them either. Plus it was the same add, over and over and over. I resume my search and another add. I could not type fast enough. It was terrible so I've already found a different app. Anything is better then this one, don't even bother. The only reason it has one star, it did work as a remote, when you were able to use.

Great app easy to use and connected immediately to the TV on same wifi network. Has all the functions of the original remote. Ads are annoying anywhere but they don't overkill with them and they allow you to use it for free with a few ads. Great backup if you lose the remote or even way to eliminate it all together.
