About this app

TaxiWebBooker Driver is the companion app for taxi and private-hire drivers working with companies that use the TaxiWebBooker.com platform.

Please note: this app can only be used together with the TaxiWebBooker.com platform. It is not a standalone app. You need a driver account provided by a taxi company that uses TaxiWebBooker. Without these login details from your company, the app cannot be used.

Receive ride jobs directly from your dispatch, see all the details you need, and manage your working day from a single screen — no paperwork, no phone calls back to the office.

What you can do

* Receive and review incoming ride jobs in real time
* See pickup and destination details, passenger information, and trip notes at a glance
* Accept or decline jobs based on your availability
* Navigate to the pickup and drop-off with your preferred maps app
* Update trip status as you go on the way, arrived, passenger on board, completed
* Share your live location with your dispatch during an active ride

While you have an active ride, TaxiWebBooker Driver shares your location continuously with your dispatch and, where your company enables it, with the passenger. This continues while the app is in the background and while your screen is off, because dispatch needs to see where you are throughout the journey to assign follow-up work, to give passengers accurate arrival times, and to reach you if a job changes en route.

This is why the app uses a foreground service with background location access.

Location sharing starts only when you begin a ride and stops automatically as soon as you complete it. It never runs when you have no active ride. While it is active, a permanent notification is shown in your notification bar so you always know when your location is being shared, and you can see and end the ride from there.

Built for the way taxi companies work
TaxiWebBooker Driver connects to your company's dispatch system, so the jobs you see are the jobs assigned to you. Trip information stays consistent between the office, the booking platform, and your phone — reducing miscommunication and missed details.
