I got tired of that other app that's so full of ads and switched to this. It has everything I need: a basic simple clockface with accurate time. I would like a palette of tertiary colors though, for both the background as well as the borders. The new dull earth tones are boring, not to mention the strange color names are unfamiliar. I assume they are new as purple is shown in the screen shots, but not available in the app when I downloaded it today.

The Atomic Time app shows how much your phone is out of sync with NIST time. It updates every 30 seconds, and it indicates varying discrepancies between the phone's clock and NIST. It does not actually correct your phone's clock. I have checked this app against the time.gov (NIST's) website, and they both indicate similar results. I have been able to re sync my phone's clock with NIST by restarting my phone, and this app and the NIST website verify this. It is a very quick way to check the accuracy of your phone's clock. This app is very useful for adjusting clocks and watches that you have around the house that must be set manually. The display and sound are very useful for this. It is a great app for DST and standard time changes.

Look no further! If you want the atomic clock with the cleanest, simplest, most brilliant design, this is the app! I was using another app for years, and the latest version cluttered up the screen with so much text and ads, they actually had to make the clock face so small, I could no longer read the time! I'm glad the other developer forced me to search-on to find this app. It's better than the other one ever was. Thank you! BTW, I love the optional ticking sound!
