About this app

Typdit is built on one idea: a sentence you type yourself reads differently from a sentence you skim. Type a quote you want to keep, type the opening line of a novel, or type your own goal, one line at a time.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Quote typing: type real quotes from real people, browse them by theme, and retype the same line as often as you like.
- First lines: type the opening sentence of a literary work, with the author and the source noted for each entry.
- My goal: write your own goal or affirmation and type it every day. A daily streak is kept on your device.
- Typing test: measure WPM and accuracy on a real sentence instead of a random word drill.
- Replays: publish a run as a shareable link that plays back keystroke by keystroke, pauses, deletions and corrections included.
- Keyboard shop: keyboards and switches gathered in one place, with links back to the seller.

WHY REPLAYS
Finished text hides the thinking. A replay shows where someone stopped, backed up and chose a different word, which is often the interesting part.

CREDITS
Reading, the typing test, quote typing and goal typing are free. Publishing a replay as a shareable link costs 1 credit.

The app works together with typdit.com and needs a network connection. Available in English, Korean and Japanese.
