it's rare I take time to leave a review. but maybe someone will see this and avoid buying these lights or avoid buying a well meaning gift for a cyclist. I had the unfortunate experience of getting these as a gift. You need to download an app - for bicycle lights! - insane. I just want to change the color of the light from red to white so I can use the light in the front. the app wants my location and who knows what else. and it gets stuck on trying to find a remote. I don't have a remote!

Thank you for your feedback, we truly appreciate it. We are using it to improve our products. You do not need the app to switch front and rear. Just flip the light 180 degrees right after turning it on.

Galaxy S23 Ultra, I haven't been experiencing any of the connection issues others have, it reconnects every time. I set up the lights the one way I want them and then basically never use the app again. Not using crash detection either. One actual complaint I have about the apps UI design... if I start making a new preset where it is asking me to input a name, I have no way to actually back out of that screen. back commands don't respond and I have to force close the app.

Syncing my helmet, smart light, and nav remote went relatively well. I was able to create a custom setting and upload it to my devices. After that, it took a week before i opened the app again. Now when i open the app, it no longer detects my devices, so i cannot change any settings. All my devices work well together but the app needs more development.
