Coursebound turns your device into an open three-ring binder that keeps every assignment, class project, and deadline neatly clipped into place. Adding a new task feels like writing on a ruled index card, with a colored stripe that matches the subject and a due date that stays front and center. The Board tab serves as a quick daily dashboard, where oversized hand-drawn numbers on bright sticky notes show your Due Today count in yellow and your Overdue count in coral. That same view also surfaces up to three upcoming assignments due this week, so you never lose sight of what is around the corner. Inside the Assignments tab, your cards appear in chronological order, each sporting a cream paper background, a subject-colored left edge, a due date, and a small status circle in the top right. A green filled circle means the work is done, an orange half-filled circle signals progress, and a gray empty circle marks tasks you have not started yet, all without a single check mark or tick. You can instantly search assignments by title to locate exactly the card you need, even when your binder is full. The Subjects tab presents each course as its own colorful card that shows how many assignments are pending or in progress, and tapping a subject filters the main list to only that class. When it is time to record a new piece of work, the Add tab offers a simple form where you enter a title, select a subject from courses you have already taken, pick a due date, and set an initial status. Tapping the flat pencil-shaped save button triggers a brief writing animation before the new card snaps neatly into the binder rings with a soft click. Updating your progress is just as natural; change the status by cycling through the circle states directly from a card, and the Board counters refresh to reflect your current load. All of your assignment data stays stored locally on your device, which means your binder is always private and available without any account or internet connection. The entire feel mirrors an actual desktop planner, from the leather binder edges and ruled filler paper to the plastic divider tabs at the bottom.
