About this app

To learn any subject, knowledge of language is very important, because language is a medium of expression. Language is oral, written and symbolic. Knowledge of alphabets is necessary for anyone to be able to reading with understanding written material.

Akshar Gyan app can help in learning to read and write Hindi alphabets.
Our Akshar Gyan app is designed to teach basic alphabet and reading to beginners. This app represents children of age group 6-8 which is related to early education like language development, early literacy. Although this app can be used by anyone who is learning to read, its target audience is primary school aged children.
Therefore, it has been designed keeping in mind the interest and safety of children. A lot of precautions have been taken in making this app, still if there is any error it will be updated later.
This app is especially useful for adults who could not learn to read and write Hindi alphabets due to some reason.
Akshar Gyan app – By tapping a button (पढ़ें) on the main page, you can go to the page designed for reading Hindi alphabets and by tapping a button (लिखें) you can go to the page designed for writing/tracing alphabets.

To read alphabets - In this page, pictures related to the letters are given in flash cards along with symbols and pronunciation of all the letters of the Hindi alphabet.
Which is also simple for writing, like “ग” “म” “न” “र” etc. have been given first and by seeing and hearing them, you will be able to know the relationship between the sound of the alphabet and the symbol.
You can hear the pronunciation again by tapping the speaker button below. In this page, tapping the Next button and Previous button will display another letters. In this way, you will be able to recognize the letters by knowing the relationship between Hindi alphabets, symbols and sounds.
For writing/tracing – In this page you can write and draw freely on the given letters. tapping the Next button and Previous button will display another letters. It has buttons to choose colors, erase the drawing and change the size of the pencil (stroke). There is a button to view the tracing guide which can be tapped to see the tracing guide which can help you in tracing. If you want, you can also write accordingly.
Close the app by tapping the button (X) .
In this way, by using this app, any person can learn to read and write the Hindi alphabet. This is not a government app.
