The app has 2 modes, and is free to install and free to use.

Explore Baghdad : embark on a gamified, narrative-driven journey that takes approximately 2 hours to complete. Each mission tasks you with investigating historical locations, gathering and studying intel, and using this acquired knowledge to carry out missions for the Hidden Ones and reveal the path to the hidden treasure.

Access Codex: consult carefully selected encyclopedic entries on the history, art, and culture of medieval Baghdad and the Abbasid Caliphate. Benefit from additional historical information and interact with this content by manipulating 3D images and using the Augmented Reality functionality for some entries.

Free for education, wow, Go Ubisoft! It is exactly what it promises, a simple exploration of history along with plenty of interesting facts. It's nice that it kindly tests your knowledge with a simple text adventure. I particularly like the AR models of historical objects from Assassin's Creed Mirage.

I love AC Mirage and this is a much more fun and entertaining way of reading the codex. However the mini games that you need to play during the discovery tour feel stiff and out of place. Overall this app is definitely worth your time.

i enjoyed the mix of the game and that I learned more about the history, art, and culture of medieval Baghdad and the Abbasid Caliphate. I've played a similar game on PC about Vikings era . 4 stars because i was finished before I knew it. a few more missions would have been amazing .
