Rádio Difusora was founded on February 27, 1956 by Italian businessman Vicente Gallo Sobrinho, based on the old loudspeaker service "Avoz de Bagé", created by him in 1935.
Based on "Voz de Bagé" and the first radio broadcast in Bagé (when the then president of Brazil Getúlio Vargas visited the city in 1942), the creation of a radio station in the municipality was planned.
In 2017, it was one of the first broadcasters to be officially authorized by the Ministry of Communications to migrate to the FM frequency; The migration began in November of the same year, with the debut of Difusora on the 103.9 MHz frequency.
The station currently operates on the 90.0 Mhz frequency.
