1. After connecting the camera, you can view the image data of the camera in real time.
2. Take photos and save the wonderful moments to the phone album.

I don't understand why people complain when they don't know how to use this device. You have to remember that, at least for me (that is, on an older model), the mini-USB port on the right side of the device is for power. The USB-A on the top is for data transmission. You either have to run both ports at the same time in order to provide the power if your device is not charged. Or you should charge the device first so that you can unplug the mini-USB port on the right side and just use the regul

Worked the first few times I used it, less than a year and it only says I need to connect the device. The device is connected. I've turned everything on and off. Uninstalled and reinstalled app. So far nothing make sit believe that the device is connected. :(

I have no complaints. It has worked with two or three different phones. Make sure permissions are on for storage if you want to save photos or video. I once operated it while under meds from a dental procedure, then sent photos to a person or three. Not sure how you would stop that :>) Don't forget you actually need to charge the battery in the camera, it doesn't run off the connection to your phone or device.
