L-WebTIPS is a personalized application that aims to prepare children and families for surgery.
At Home Before Surgery
● Learn to manage anxiety using techniques at home and on the day of surgery.
● Hear how some parents have prepared before their child's surgery.
The day of surgery
● Be an expert in techniques to distract your child from surgery.
● Hear from parents about their child's experience with anesthesia.
Recovery room
● Learn how the nurses and doctors will manage your child's pain.
● Practice using the anxiety management techniques you learned at home before surgery!
● Does your child have pain at home? Become an expert at reading the signs!
● Identify when your child should take medication to control pain.
L-Web-T
● Take a virtual tour of the surgical floor!
● Play the Mask Game with Anna and her stuffed animals!
