About this game

Dim Glow is an arcade survival game set in a dark atmospheric world. You control a glowing orb of light that slowly fades over time. Your mission is to keep the glow alive for as long as possible by collecting light orbs scattered across the play field while avoiding shadow obstacles that drain your energy.

The game features five distinct power-ups that appear during gameplay. The Shield blocks one hit from a shadow obstacle. The Magnet pulls nearby light orbs toward you automatically. Slow Motion reduces the speed of all obstacles so you can navigate tighter situations. The Score Multiplier doubles the points you earn from every light orb collected. The Nova blast instantly clears all obstacles on screen and awards bonus points.

As you play and earn coins, you can visit the Shop to unlock and equip six unique glow color skins for your orb. Each skin gives your light a distinct visual identity. Your best score, coin balance, unlocked skins and game statistics are all saved automatically and persist between sessions.

The game runs on a dedicated render thread for smooth responsive gameplay. Touch and drag anywhere on screen to guide your orb. The longer you survive, the faster and more frequent the shadow obstacles become, creating an escalating challenge that rewards quick reflexes and strategic power-up usage.
