Gear 360 Capture is an independent application designed to connect your Android device to a Gear 360 camera and transfer captured 360° photos directly to your phone.

* How to Connect
* Enable Wi-Fi on your Android device.
* Turn on your Gear 360 camera.
* Find the Wi-Fi network broadcast by the camera (for example: Gear360(CC:36).OSC).
* Connect using the password displayed below the network name on the camera.
* Once connected successfully, a "G" icon will appear on the Gear 360 camera.

Important Information

For reliable operation, mobile data should be disabled while using the application and connected to the Gear 360 camera.

Capture Modes

Auto Mode

Auto Mode continuously captures photos until you manually stop the capture process. This mode is ideal for creating large collections of 360° images automatically.

Single Mode

Single Mode captures one photo per trigger and produces a single 360° image.

Capture and Transfer Workflow

Capturing and saving a photo is a single automated workflow:
Capture → Internal Stitching in Gear 360 → Transfer to Phone

After the camera emits a confirmation beep, the image is processed internally by the Gear 360 camera, stitched into a complete 360° photo, and then transferred to your device.

The entire process typically takes approximately 15 seconds before the final image becomes available on your phone.

360° Photo Viewer

View your spherical photos directly within the app using an interactive 360° viewer. Explore your images by dragging, swiping, or moving your device to look around the captured scene.

* Compatible with supported Gear 360 cameras.
* Wi-Fi connection is required between the camera and your device.
* Performance may vary depending on device specifications and camera firmware version.
