The Post Office app is the innovative service for sending telegrams, registered mail, and regular and priority mail via Poste Italiane throughout Italy in just seconds, and paying bills. All directly online!
With the Post Office app, you can send your mail and pay any type of bill from the office, home, or wherever you are.
The service is available 24/7.
All shipments sent will be delivered to the recipient in paper format, just like a telegram, registered letter, or letter sent from a traditional post office.
Plan your shipments and check costs and contents before sending, without the risk of errors. All services include:
■ black and white printing on A4 paper
■ folding and enveloping
■ postage in accordance with current legislation
■ delivery to the recipient
■ delivery notification (optional);
You can create your message by typing text directly from the editor or uploading PDF files or images.
Using the app doesn't require registration and allows you to pay by credit card, PayPal, bank transfer, or top-up.

You can track your shipment directly in the app. Enter the tracking code for your registered or priority mail in the TRACKING section and check the delivery status.
DELIVERY TIMES
Telegrams, registered mail, ordinary and priority mail to Italy are delivered exclusively on weekdays.
REGISTERED MAIL
Registered mail is delivered according to the following quality objectives:
■ Delivery within 4 business days after dispatch for 90% of items
■ Delivery within 6 business days after dispatch for 98% of items
Return receipt will be returned to the sender within 5-10 business days (excluding Saturdays and holidays)
TELEGRAM
Telegram delivery times depend on acceptance times:
■ By 7:00 a.m., same-day delivery for at least 90% of items
■ By 12:00 p.m. (for metropolitan cities only), same-day delivery for at least 90% of items
■ After 12:00 p.m., delivery occurs the next business day after acceptance for 99% of items
In all locations included in the list of municipalities with same-day delivery Delivery occurs on the second business day following acceptance for 99% of shipments.
POST 1
Poste Italiane will deliver priority mail according to the following quality objectives:
■ 1 business day following acceptance for at least 80% of shipments
■ 4 business days following acceptance for at least 98% of shipments
POST 4
Regular Mail delivery times are:
■ 4 business days following acceptance for 90% of shipments
■ 6 business days following acceptance for 98% of shipments
For online shipments, the following processing times are added to the indicated delivery times: printing on one business day (T+1), if the shipment is accepted by 2:00 PM from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays.
PAYMENT PAYMENT
Pay any type of payment payment directly online in seconds, complete with receipt. Payment can also be completed via QR Code.
