Couldn't get passed the "Upgrade Now" prompt after installing the app. It kept crashing, and there's no option to skip the upgrade. I contacted customer service via email and received a quick response. My Asante unit had very old firmware, and the Android version of the app will crash when trying to update it. The solution from Asante was to use an iPhone to access my account and run the firmware upgrade. This worked and my Android phone can now connect to the unit. Customer service can also run the upgrade for you if you don't have access to an iPhone.

I downloaded the app and it says it has to have permissions to your phone photo etc... not sure why they would need the info. Gave permissions then it stated there is an updated version. Clicked download and it closed the app. Tried several times and even unistalled the app several times but can not get past this glitch... what a waste of time and money.

What is so hard about having an app and product that aren't junk. After all, it is just a sprinkler. I see why you have only sold around 1000 in the past 3 years. Learn from my mistake people and do not buy this product line.
