EV80 is an application that helps manage EV charging, including notifications, cost calculations, and charging reports.

Regarding the problem of EV battery charging exceeding 80% frequently, which can affect the battery's long-term lifespan, EV80 is designed to allow you to set a charging target, such as 80%, and automatically calculate the time and notify you when it reaches that point. It also acts as an alarm clock and notification app, ensuring you charge properly, safely, and maximize battery life.

The EV80's primary function is similar to an alarm clock app. You record:
1. Current battery charge percentage and
2. Target battery charge percentage.

The EV80 then calculates the charging time, which can be used to set an alarm and alert you, just like an alarm clock app. It also provides various tools to help you use your car more efficiently.

EV80 was born from a real-world problem I encountered in my daily life. I used an EV charger without an app or system to monitor the charging status. Every time I charged, I had to manually calculate the time, set the alarm, and then go out and check if the battery had reached 80%.

Sometimes I missed the mark, and sometimes I forgot. And there's no historical data to show how much charge has been made and how much electricity has been used.

The funny thing is... I've been checking my car battery more often than I've been checking my refrigerator.

So I created EV80 to make charging my EV at home easier, smarter, and more convenient—no guesswork, no frequent trips, and with historical data for planning.

The EV80's notification system includes:

1. Exact Alarm: Set an accurate alarm even when the app isn't open.

2. Notifications: Display a "Charging Complete" notification.

EV80 requests permissions for accurate notifications and scheduling to ensure optimal performance.

1. Charging Notifications
EV80 makes it easier to manage your EV charging. The system records your current and target battery level, automatically calculates the time and electricity cost, and notifies you when the time is right.

You can customize data such as battery capacity, charger power, hourly charging rate, and average electricity cost per unit.

The system also supports Multiple vehicles and multiple chargers, and a pre-charge notification function, help you control costs and efficiently manage your energy every time you charge.

The EV80 works with all brands of electric vehicles and AC chargers (home chargers). It's convenient and ready to use, with no additional installation required. Simply download the EV80 and start using it.

2. Charging Summary Report
The EV80 collects all charging data for each vehicle and provides a clear monthly summary of the results, including the number of charges, total energy consumption (kWh), and estimated monthly electricity costs. This allows users to easily track charging behavior and easily compare usage across months.

It helps with efficient EV planning, budgeting, and controlling vehicle operating costs. The data displayed covers charging time and chargers used. You can view monthly history data and battery percentage before and after charging, helping you understand actual usage and adjust charging behavior to suit your lifestyle.

3. Calculation
The EV80's calculation tool was developed to help users estimate charging costs and times in advance. This includes calculating the electricity cost before starting a charge, calculating the required time, and analyzing the energy required for the trip. This feature helps you plan your EV usage efficiently and avoid unexpected charges.

Users can adjust various data, such as battery capacity, charger power, and average electricity cost per unit, to ensure results are as accurate as possible. This reduces the hassle of manual calculations and increases confidence in using your EV in everyday life.
