Send the log down the line. Let the blades do their work. Match the shape exactly.
A block of raw timber is spinning on a moving track. Ahead of it, blades are waiting. Steer the log into them at the right moments and a shapeless lump slowly becomes a chess piece, a pine tree, a vase, whatever the outline in front of you says it should be.
HOW TO PLAY
The log travels forward on its own, turning as it goes. A ghost outline sits over it showing you the shape you are aiming for.
Blades line the track. Guide the log into them and they shave material away. Steer into the right ones and the wood takes shape. Steer into the wrong ones and you have just cut away part of the shape you needed.
Reach the finish line and the game measures your work against the target, edge for edge, and tells you exactly how close you got.
FEATURES
• REAL CARVING — Watch actual material come off the log as the blades bite. Nothing is faked with animations.
• MATCH THE OUTLINE — Every level gives you a target shape as a ghost overlay. Your job is to hit it as precisely as you can.
• SCORED ON ACCURACY — Your finished piece is compared against the target and given a percentage. Close is fine. Perfect is the goal.
• CARVING MEETS RUNNING — The track keeps moving whether you are ready or not. Position, commit and adjust as you go.
• PICK UP TOOLS — Grab axes and blades along the route to change what you can cut.
• AVOID THE WRONG CUTS — Not every blade is your friend. Take the wrong line and you will ruin a piece that was nearly finished.
• A SHAPE FOR EVERY LEVEL — Trees, pillars, vases, chess pieces and stranger things besides.
• ONE FINGER CONTROLS — Slide left and right. That is the whole thing.
• PLAY OFFLINE — No internet connection needed. Carve anywhere.
• FREE TO PLAY — Download and start carving straight away.
WHY IT IS SATISFYING
There is a particular pleasure in watching material fall away and a recognisable shape appear underneath. Carving Expert is built entirely on that. The log spins, the blade bites, curls of wood fly off, and something that was a plain cylinder ten seconds ago is suddenly a fir tree.
The scoring is what keeps it honest. Anyone can get a rough approximation down the track. Getting into the nineties means you were reading the outline properly, choosing your blades and knowing when to stay well clear.
THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY
Every player has the same story: a piece that was going perfectly until one careless moment near the end. You cannot put wood back on. That single rule is what makes the good runs feel earned.
It also makes retrying genuinely appealing. You already know where you went wrong, and the run only takes a minute, so having another go is the obvious move.
BUILT FOR ONE MORE GO
A run lasts about a minute from raw log to finished piece, which makes this the sort of game you open for a single level and put down eight levels later. There is no energy meter, no waiting and nothing to manage between attempts. Fail a shape and you are back at the start of the track before you have finished being annoyed about it.
It also plays perfectly well with half your attention, right up until a shape you actually care about comes along and you find yourself concentrating properly for the first time in an hour.
QUICK TIPS
• Look at the ghost outline before you touch anything. Know the shape you are making.
• Cut the widest sections first. Fine detail near the end is where runs get ruined.
• When a section already matches, steer clear of it. Doing nothing is often the right call.
• A steady partial cut beats a deep one. You cannot undo an overcut.
