downloaded app, opened it, used precise location. Red banner message comes up stating "unable to read data." message appears no matter where on the map I look. is this app still active? would love to have the ability to search for survey markers with an android phone.

Hello! Sorry you encountered that issue. The error message is shown when the NGS API servers are unresponsive, which I have no control over. I just checked and there still seems to be issues at their end. I hope they resolve it soon.

I like the graphic in how it indicates the various benchmarks on the map. The only thing I would like to see added would be my current location on the map. Still the app is simple to use and a great visual reference for NGS benchmarks.

Just what I wanted. But of course, my standards change. I'd like to see a satellite photography layer, as Google Maps has. Better, one stored for offline. Also, offline storage of all 400,000 NGS benchmarks. I'm looking for a way to donate 50 dollars to this guy.
