About this app
Turn your deep-sky astrophotography into a personal 3D sky atlas. Place your photos of nebulae, galaxies and star clusters in the night sky, then explore the universe through images you captured.
PLATE SOLVING FOR DEEP-SKY PHOTOS
Import a finished JPEG or PNG and use online plate solving to calculate its position on the celestial sphere. See where your image belongs among the stars and constellations, or position it manually.
FROM YOUR IMAGING WORKFLOW TO YOUR SKY ATLAS
If you capture with ZWO or QHYCCD astronomy cameras, use ASIAIR during an imaging session, or photograph with a Seestar smart telescope, save your finished image as a JPEG or PNG before importing it. After processing in PixInsight or Siril, export the image to your phone's photo library and place it on your own sky map.
This workflow uses exported image files. My Sky Pro does not connect to or control these devices, and does not offer direct integration with the named software.

Browse an interactive night sky with stars, constellation lines, the Milky Way, landscape and coordinate grids. Search for stars, constellations and Messier objects by name or catalog number to explore the surroundings of your photographed targets.

Keep your finished astronomy photos in an on-device library. Preview, rename, edit, locate and organize your works, and revisit each image in the context of the sky.
PLANETARY AND LUNAR PHOTOGRAPHY
Explore the solar system and place a photo on a selected planet or the Sun. Add a lunar image, then drag, zoom and rotate it to align with features on the Moon.
PRO UNLOCK
A one-time in-app purchase unlocks Pro and removes the sky-photo import limit.
ONLINE SOLVING AND STORAGE
Your works and observing settings are stored on your device by default. Online plate solving requires an internet connection and uploads the selected image to our service and Astrometry.net for processing. FITS and camera RAW files must first be converted to JPEG or PNG.
