About this app

This app reads your phones turn-by-turn navigation notifications and sends them over Bluetooth to your KTM/Husqvarna motorcycle which displays them in the dashboard.
This has the advantage that you can use your favorite powerful map application without having to download any maps to your phone or having to get used to a new mapping app.

Instructions:
- pair the motorcycle via Bluetooth (if you have not done this before already)
- plan your route and start navigation in the mapping application
- start this app

- if you drive on the left side of the road: change the option inside settings to display roundabout correctly.

Requirements:
Your KTM must be My Ride Navigation compatible (unfortunately the 250 and 390 Duke are not compatible :().

Tested with a 2019 KTM 790 Adventure and a current version of google maps but also works on the 390 Adventure and 1290 Super Adventure and the Husqvarna Norden 901.

Problems:
Please check that in you android settings -> apps -> (google)maps -> notifications -> navigation is enabled.

This app does what it's supposed to do! Unlike the factory KTM app, which interferes with phone calls and has other quirks and issues. This also works with google maps, unlike that factory app. My only complaint — and it's a small one — would be that it lags behind my phone just a little bit. For instance, when my phone says I'm supposed to turn in 250 feet, it will still be telling me on the display that it's 0.2 mile. Ditch the KTM app & get this one instead; and buy the guy a few stars!

Awesome app! Can't believe it's free. Tested and works on my 390 adventure. If you're having troubles, don't give a bad review until you've done troubleshooting. First, your bike must be compatible with KTMconnect. Second, your google maps must have an active notification in the top bar while navigating. If it's not there, do this: Settings->Apps->Maps->Notifications->Notification Categories-> under Maps Features, turn on "allow notifications" and "navigation".

Great App, works perfect, I lost the notification access 2x at the beginning but after that, no issues at all. I have a the 2019 Superadventure R and a Note10+. Works great together. Connecting to the bike was super fast, after installing the app, the connection was done in less than 10 seconds. I guess that 99% of the reviews with notification access issues are based on security settings with the mobile device and not enough experience with troubleshooting.
