About this game

Get your lab coat ready, choose your reagents, and embark with Molz on an adventure through the laboratory!

Molz: Chemistry at Play is a 2D educational digital game that transforms introductory concepts of Organic Chemistry into a fun, visual, and interactive experience. With a cartoonish design, laboratory scenarios, flasks, mixtures, sound effects, and the charismatic mascot Molz, the game invites you to investigate mysterious compounds through solubility tests.

In the virtual laboratory, you conduct experiments with compounds, reagents, and solvents, observe the results of the mixtures, and use the evidence to discover the unknown substance. Each choice helps advance the investigation: is the compound soluble? Does it sink? Does it float? Does it change with the indicator? It's up to you to observe, test, and decide!

The experience combines learning, exploration, and challenge in a playful 2D environment, designed to make contact with Chemistry more accessible and engaging.

What you'll find in Molz:

* 2D virtual laboratory with a cartoonish visual style;

* Molz mascot accompanying the experiment;

* Experiments with compounds, reagents, and solvents;

* Animated mixtures and visual, textual, and auditory feedback;

* Investigation mechanics by elimination;

* History of tests performed;

* Decision tree to support the interpretation of results;

* Game modes with different levels of challenge;

* A fun way to explore introductory concepts of Organic Chemistry.

Molz was developed as a complementary tool for students, teachers, and people curious about science, especially in the introductory study of the solubility classification of organic compounds.

Enter the laboratory, conduct your tests, and help Molz unravel the mysterious compounds!
