About this app

Ham Learning is a complete, offline-first study companion for amateur radio — from your first Technician ticket all the way to Extra, plus real Morse-code training and live shortwave listening.

STUDY FOR YOUR LICENSE
• Full US FCC question pools — Technician, General, and Extra (1,400+ questions).
• Mock exams with scoring, full question review, and a progress dashboard (study streak, exams attempted, pass rate, per-subelement mastery).
• Hundreds of plain-English lessons on operating, rules, electronics, and safety.
• Interactive Q-codes, phonetic alphabet, glossary, and a tiered band chart.

MASTER MORSE CODE
• Koch-method trainer with adjustable Farnsworth spacing, character speed, and tone.
• Real-time on-device Morse decoder — point it at received CW and read the text.
• Send-it-yourself paddle with a tap-key decoder and live pulse-ring feedback.

LISTEN LIVE
• Curated WebSDR receivers from around the world.
• Built-in SWL logbook — frequency and mode auto-filled from the live receiver, plus callsign, RST, and notes; export the whole log as CSV.

CALCULATORS & LABS
• Wavelength, dipole/vertical length, Ohm's law, dB, SWR, LC resonance, coax loss, RF-exposure, and Maidenhead grid tools.
• Interactive circuit lab and antenna-pattern lab.

BUILT RIGHT
• Offline-first — works without a connection and degrades gracefully.
• No account. No ads. No tracking.
• Light/dark themes and adjustable font size.

What’s new

WebSDR refresh & stability fix.

• Refreshed the WebSDR source list — dead receivers replaced and new stations added (KiwiSDR world map, Doha, Washington DC, Hack Green, Friedrichshafen, an Australian KiwiSDR, QO-100).
• The error banner now has a one-tap Directory shortcut to receivers that are online right now.
• Your last-used source is remembered.
• Fixed a rare crash on the practice-exam results and share screens.
