Orbitfire is a one-tap arcade space shooter built on a single idea: you cannot aim.
A cannon sits at the center of the screen and turns. It never stops, it never slows for you, and there is no way to steer it.
Tap anywhere to fire along the barrel's heading. That is the entire control scheme. Every shot you land is a shot you timed, and every shot you miss costs you the combo you had been building.
TIMING, NOT AIM
Most shooting games ask you to point at a target. Orbitfire takes that away and keeps the harder half. Planets ride elliptical orbits at a speed you learn, the cannon sweeps at a speed you learn, and the skill is knowing the instant those two rhythms line up. There is nothing to drag, nothing to steer and no lucky shots — pure reflex and rhythm.
Ammunition costs points, so spraying is punished. A clean level is worth far more than a lucky one.
FIVE STAGES, THEN THE STORM
Each level is five stages, and each stage adds another world to clear. Levels get faster rather than merely busier: the cannon speeds up, the orbits tighten, and the rare planet types start appearing — stars, pulsars, asteroids, comets.
Every third level from level 3, the sixth stage is a METEOR STORM. The orbits are gone. Rocks come in from every direction on a twenty-six second clock, most of them crossing harmlessly, a handful aimed straight at your gun. Tap to shoot, or hold to raise a shield that shatters anything it touches — but the shield has a cooldown, and spending it on the wrong rock is how the storm gets you.
BOOSTS, WHEN YOU WANT THEM
One optional boost per stage, if you choose to watch an ad for it: slow everything down, reverse the barrel's direction, double your score, or make a storm longer and heavier. Nothing is sold for money, nothing is offered mid-stage, and the game never interrupts you to suggest one.
PLAY OFFLINE, NO ACCOUNT
No sign-in. No energy timers. No paywall, no currency, nothing to buy. Your progress is stored on your own device and goes nowhere else. This is an offline arcade game — no wifi needed to play, and the only thing that ever needs a connection is an ad you chose to watch.
