Smart Stairs
Get to know a unique development of Upstairs Stair Renovation: Smart Stairs. This new upgrade for a stair renovation on the current LED lighting not only makes your stairs more beautiful, but also more functional, safer and smarter!
What is Smart Stairs?
With this advanced system you not only have LED lighting in your stairs, but you also gain insight into:
- How often the stairs have been used
- When someone uses the stairs
- How fast someone walks down the stairs
- How many calories have been burned by using the stairs
How does Smart Stairs work?
The Smart Stairs is installed with a special program that is connected to an associated app in which all kinds of information can be read. Such as the use of the stairs, how many steps are used, how fast someone walks on the stairs and when someone walks on the stairs.
Setting the LED lighting
The LED lighting can also be regulated in the app. With regular LED lighting you can choose warm or cold light in the stair steps, which can be turned on and off with a remote control. With Smart Stairs you can also set:
- when the stair lighting should be on and whether it should be dimmed
- what color the lighting should be. Thanks to the RGBW LED lighting, you can set the color of light on the stairs via the app
Switching the LED lighting on and off, choosing colors and dimming the lighting can be set via the remote control and the app.
App functionalities Smart Stairs
Additional functions are also possible in the special Upstairs Smart app, such as:
- switch on the stair lighting when movement is detected;
- set off an alarm when there is movement on the stairs;
- display a notification as soon as a child or person in need of assistance uses the stairs unattended;
- setting personal colors of the stair lighting
- set all functions when you want.
For example, set:
“Between 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m., the lighting must be switched on (1) if it detects movement (2) in the color red (3) with a dimmability of 50% (4)”
