About this app

1. Produced within the cultural mediators research and development at the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières (UQTR) and resulting from a transfer of knowledge from the Loricorps research unit, the “cultural eCompagnon” application supports you within the Baccalaureate in Preschool and Primary Education (BÉPEP). This application offers you the possibility of accessing: (i) the cultural resources mobilized in different courses; (ii) the educational intentions associated therewith; and (iii) comments from other students regarding the use of these resources in preschool and elementary school. A true memory of your cultural experiences, the cultural eCompagnon aims to equip you when you enter the profession.

2. On the research and development side, this application provides information a few times during your university career on how your preparation is developing to use cultural resources with your future students. You will be offered a brief ecological and instantaneous questionnaire, at the start of using the application, at the end of each fall and winter session and, possibly, before and after a specific activity prepared by a BÉPEP trainer. through the app.

3. Features:
a) access the resources mobilized in BEPEP courses and the educational intentions associated with them;
b) select his favorite resources;
c) annotate his favorite resources;
d) publicly comment on favorite resources and read comments from other students;
e) periodically respond to a questionnaire on the feeling of preparation to use these resources.
