About this app

CallRoute puts your business phone number in your pocket. Answer calls, reply to texts and keep your team in step from your phone, with the same inbox, contacts and call history you use in the CallRoute dashboard.

You sign in with your CallRoute account. Workspaces, numbers and team members are set up in the CallRoute dashboard on the web, and this app is where you take the calls and conversations with you.

INBOX
Every text and WhatsApp chat on your business numbers lands in one inbox. Search by name, number or message, filter by number, and mark conversations as done or unread so nothing slips through.
* Start a new conversation with any contact or number, and pick which of your numbers it comes from
* Save time with templates that fill in the customer's details for you
* Schedule a text to go out later, then send it early or cancel it
* Leave internal notes and mention a teammate with @, visible only to your team
* Assign a conversation to the right person
* Texts, WhatsApp chats, calls, voicemails and notes sit in one thread per customer

CALLS
Incoming calls to your business number ring on your phone like a normal call, even when the app is closed or the screen is locked. Call out from your business number with the keypad, and reach a teammate by dialing their extension.
* Mute, speaker, keypad and hold, with hold music for the caller
* Start, pause and resume call recording
* Transfer a call to a teammate or an outside number. Talk to them first, or hand the caller over right away
* Merge everyone into a three way call
* Live translation: you and your caller each speak your own language, and the app translates both ways during the call

AFTER THE CALL
Open any call to see what happened.
* Play the recording
* Read an AI summary with action items your team can tick off
* Read the full transcript, and translate it into another language
* Listen to voicemails and read them as text
* See the message the AI receptionist took when nobody could pick up: who called, why, and where to call them back

CONTACTS
Search your shared contact book, add new contacts, and keep names, companies, emails, phone numbers and notes up to date. Open a contact to see every conversation you have had with them, then call or text in one tap.

SETTINGS
Switch between workspaces, see the numbers assigned to you, and choose a light theme, a dark theme or one that matches your phone. Owners and admins can check the workspace balance. The app tells you if the microphone, notifications or full screen calls are turned off, and takes you straight to the setting.

SECURE BY DEFAULT
Two step sign in is supported, your sign in is kept in your phone's secure storage, and all traffic is encrypted.
