Very unreliable, especially in rural areas. Very often have to drive away to update the key and come back since it does not update in the background. It also has a tendency to fail to connect to lockboxes. Very embarrassing when attempting to show a property to a client. I've decided it best to go with an alternative way of providing keys to other agents on listings. As for showings, I'm stuck with this inferior and outdated technology, and make do the best I can.

Horrible app, it never updates on cellular when it's supposed to, even with really strong connections. It's a waste of time if you have to go back to Wi-Fi just to sync the app so that you can open up a lock. Added a bunch of bells and whistles that have no value to the end user, just open the locks. 12/07/2020. No changes, still junk. No cellular updating is possible. 2 yrs now. Several different phones.

I figured upgrade to the eKey and the highest level of service, right, for greatest reliability? Well once again yesterday I'm standing in front of a door in 105 degree heat and I can't get the client in. Since I've been having problems, I had already restarted the phone and updated, which took over an hour - constant messages that 'Supra isn't responding'. At the location, same thing, finally after multiple restarts I actually get to communicating with the box, and it locks up before opening the box. Just keeps beeping with the 'connecting' message. Restarted again and after several false starts, got there again, asked if I wanted to pair this time, got the 'opening keybox' message - then locked up again, still beeping, without unlocking the box. There is no more basic function that we as brokers provide than access to the property and I can't do it! I never did get into that box, what is more embarrassing in front of clients than that? Last weekend, I had a similar situation and there was another agent there with the handheld device, he couldn't get in either. In that case, after 1/2 hour in the heat with clients, my eKey finally worked. So is there a fundamental problem with the system? Based on the number of poor reviews here, there's a widespread problem; well written ones just get responses to contact customer service but no real help. I really want this system to work, and when it does it's good, as the listing agent I get the showing notifications right away, but if I can't count on getting into a listing, well, that's pretty much my whole job that I can't do because of this system.
