Cooked? turns NYC's official restaurant health-inspection records into something you can actually read at a glance. Every spot gets a verdict: clean, kinda mid, or straight-up cooked.

WHERE THE DATA COMES FROM
Every grade comes straight from NYC Open Data's DOHMH Restaurant Inspection Results, the same A, B, and C letter grades the city posts in restaurant windows. Grades reflect the city's most recent published inspections and can change over time. Cooked? is not affiliated with or endorsed by the City of New York or NYC DOHMH.

NO ACCOUNT, NO NONSENSE
No login. No ads. Nothing tied to your name. We use your location to find nearby spots and aim the scan bubbles, and your camera for the block scan (it stays on your phone). Saved spots live only on your device. We use anonymous analytics to make the app better, never to track you across other apps.
