The Proteger System is a platform developed by Vale to ensure compliance and traceability of data related to the implementation and maintenance of Critical Activity Requirements (RACs). Comprising three main modules—RAC Inventory (RAC 01 to 10), Confined Space Registration (RAC 06), and Machinery Risk Assessment with HRN methodology (RAC 07)—the system promotes greater safety, transparency, and operational efficiency.
Its features include asset registration and updates, assessment of compliance with requirements, identification and mitigation of machinery risks, and mapping and monitoring of confined spaces. The system is integrated with SAP and features profile-based access control, as well as data management support via Power BI.
