A game for the small gaps in a day. A queue, a commute, the few minutes before something starts. Open it, fall as far as you can, try to beat your highscore and stop whenever you like.
NOTHING TO LEARN FIRST
One thumb steers, and the rest you pick up by falling. No tutorial to sit through, no energy meter counting down, nothing nagging you to come back at six o'clock.
WHAT KEEPS YOU GOING
The number at the top of the screen. The only thing you are really playing against is your own best, and it is always close enough to be worth one more go.
BETWEEN RUNS
Runs pay coins, so a bad run still moves you forward. Coins buy permanent upgrades to six pickups: health, shields, bombs, slow motion, multiball and points. Spend the rest on cosmetics that give your fall some personality, from ball skins and trails to shaft colours and break effects. A few of those can only be unlocked by reaching certain goals.
HONEST ABOUT ADS
Plummet is free and carries advertising. There is a banner on some menu screens, and one optional video you can choose to watch to double a run's coins. Nothing in the game is locked behind an ad, no ad interrupts a run, and none appears at the moment a run ends. Never watch one and you still get the whole game, just a slower coin economy.
Steer the falling ball, break the blocks. Ten hits only. How far can you get?
